You are a masterpiece in the making

HOPELESS?

Does it seem as though you are alone in this world, as if no one is feeling your pain,

Do you feel like no one could care that you hurt, you feel lost and oh, so ashamed?

We sit and get buried in regret from our past, with heartache so real, it stings,

No matter our sorrow, we think we deserve our pain for all those wrong things.

You say, “You don’t know, I cheated, I stole; I could never be forgiven for this,”

But what you don’t realize, there’s a cross on your road,

And One who took your life on His.

Your pain had been seared in His heart, on that cross,

He has seen every wrong that you’ve done,

His reason for dying, all the hurt and the lost,

He is Love, Christ our Savior, God’s Son.

He did bear all the sadness, He has lived all the pain,

He was mocked and tormented, He has felt all your shame.

He felt hurt and betrayal by His family and friends,

They had called Him a liar; He forgave them their sins.

How is it possible this Love can be real?

When our families had really hurt us,

Please don’t take my word, take His Word from His book,

Take that step, He will teach you to trust.

The only exchange you must give is your heart;

He wants nothing else further from you,

Although there were others you had trusted in vain,

God has something He wants to prove.

He wants you to know He won’t give up on you, no matter how ugly you feel,

He wants you to see your past is gone, when you ask Jesus in, it is healed.

And don’t you worry if it’s messy inside; He is the master cleaner of hearts,

You see Jesus could fish, and He’d clean all His fish, after His fish were caught.

So my friend, as you see, I’m familiar with pain,

And I’ll tell you, with Jesus, you will smile once again.

He will give back your life, as you give yours to Him,

He will change all your sadness and your guilt and your sin.

He will change you inside, as you realize His heart,

That is why He’s our Savior, You see, it is His job!

Come to God’s resting place and He will give you shelter. You who are heavy laden, come and drink from His spring of life. He offers all His blessings to each one of His children. Rest in the knowledge, Jesus assures us, not one is excluded unless he excludes himself. The Lord, our God offers resolutions to all His children. His love beckons us again and again. If we do not hearken to God’s voice, perhaps it is because we remain closed. One can not see a good neighbor through closed doors and windows. Submit to God. He is the One who brings wonderful beginnings.

The Charlie Brown effect

Where do I begin?  I must start at the end, to where I now stand, and walk backward toward the cause, which sets the stage for my being here at this very space in time.

With regards to my present state, I am at a place of awareness, a “light bulb phase,” if you will.  This is very good.  But the downside of awareness is regret for what I did, what I did not do, what I am, what I am not.  Basically this is my personal hall of shame.

These so-called reflections usher in a tidal wave of regret and remorse for falling short of my desires, of others failed expectations of me.  Being in a state of dashed hopes makes host for a series of wanton exasperation.  All those loser moments come into the frontals of this seasoned former “Blockhead.”

I was Charlie Brown.  Although, I am a girl.  So maybe I was not the Charlie Brown.  But if Charlie were a girl, I would be him um, her.

I cannot tell you the exact moment I became aware of the similarities between Charlie Brown and I.  I can only say while viewing the specials on television, I was moved with empathy and compassion for this poor kid.  He was everyone’s fool and so was I.   Yes, once in a while he would do something right, but that was the exception and not the rule.

...and then I met Jesus and my life was never the same.

I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me

The Loom

I am sitting and weaving a new life for you,

A life full of blessings and love,

I carefully guide all the thread through life’s loom,

I’m so happy ‘cause I love this job.

The thread that I’m using is silver and gold,

For you are precious to Me, don’t you see?

So do not feel weary and do not get low,

I will carry you through everything.

The life that you knew,

The heartache and pain,

Are a thing of the past for you,

So stand and believe,

All things are changed,

Behold, I make all things brand new.

Ephesians 4:24 Put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.

everybody can do something, just do it!

Dig In

The Lord gathers His people together, from every end of earth,

Brother beside brother, in unity we’ll serve.

The Shepherd is waiting, His flock, sense, it is time,

To begin the last day’s harvest, we must recognize the signs.

The world has cast its shadow, upon each walk of life,

We must stand apart from all the rest, as Christ’s own guiding light.

We are in this world, not of this world, so live accordingly,

Trials will come from time to time, but we have victory.

As children of God, let your light shine, be witnesses for Him,

Do not let the troubles of life get you down, then darkness will creep in.

A time of dormancy is but a temporary trial,

Keep the faith, praise His name, then go the extra mile.

Don’t settle for complacency, we must be primed for change,

We cannot get the end work done, if things just stay the same.

We’ll rival with the sword of God, armed for any battle,

Together, as one, joined with God, the enemy must scatter.

The time we have, is just a blink of our Lord’s mighty eye,

Now is not the time to quit, to go within, to hide.

What can we do? Love is the key to help mankind today.

God’s people perish for lack of knowledge. Help the lost be saved.

The window to the world is closing, the evening’s drawing near,

The hour’s arrived to gather the harvest, the earth’s crop is now prepared.

Joel 3:13 Put in the sickle, for the [vintage] harvest is ripe; come, get down and tread the grapes, for the winepress is full; the vats overflow, for the wickedness [of the peoples] is great.

Jesus carried all your pain

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses,

weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains

[of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken,

smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was

wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt

and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and

well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that

wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
